On Monday the 21st of March I arrived on Groote Island as an artist employed by Ghost Nets Australia to work with Indigenous rangers and weavers at the Alyngula art centre to experiment with ways to make ghost nets into baskets and art.They were really interested and have already made several bags baskets and net sculptures.

ReplyDeletei have been right thru your whole blog to the very first post, it appeals to me so greatly, i would love to attend one of your workshops but i live in Bathurst NSW, so will have to satisfy my need by travelling to Sydney to view your exhibition. How was the opening last night, i think it was?
